Finally ... new photos!

We are finally ready to introduce you to our baby girl ... sort of! Steve and I knew we were having an ultrasound at my 28 week visit, but, much to our surprise, we didn't know until we got there that it was going to be 3D! How amazing! Because of the problems I had getting pregnant and the meds I was on, my insurance company paid for the 3D so the doctor could check her out. This was certainly a "perk" that we weren't expecting, as they are not routine for most OB patients. Most importantly, Bebe looks great!! She is developing normally, and is actually a bit ahead of schedule. Steve and I, of course, think she is the most beautiful thing in the world. But we can let you judge for yourself! At certain points during the ultrasound, we could see both her tiny hands and feet, even toes and fingers. So very precious!

Mom thinks she has my nose. Connie says she looks like Steven. I think she is beautiful and it make me long all the more to see and hold her. I'm not letting myself get too anxious, because we want her to "bake" a little longer. At this point, she is really just fattening up. The longer she incubates, the healthier she will be. And, besides that, our house is turned upside down and inside out in preparation for her arrival. She needs to give us another several weeks so we can bring her home to a clean, organized house and an amazing nursery!

As for me, I am doing fine. I seem to be losing my appetite again, but I haven't had any nausea. I'm having backaches regulary, so I lay on the heating pad alot. Other than that, I haven't had any other classic pregnancy symptoms. Bebe plays quite a bit now, and I really enjoy those moments. For anyone who is interested, she gets particularly excited during Tennessee basketball games! I am very thankful for both my and Bebe's health. And we are very grateful for your continued prayers!
