Easter Finery

Samantha's First Easter Morning
Happy Easter to our loyal readers of amy-n.blogspot.com. What a wonderful time of year and a glorious day! Today is Samantha's FIRST Easter! We are so excited and grateful to have her with us this Easter. Her day started early (5:45 AM early - we think she must have thought we were going to a sunrise service), but here are a few hi-lites of her and her basket from the Easter Bunny. We even found time to post a video, although Samantha got a little camera shy once the camera started rolling . . . .

A Really Big Bunny
Samantha attended her first ever Easter egg hunt with our Mom and Tots group last weekend. After her encounter with Ol' Saint Nick, we were a bit worried about how she would react to a large bunny. She loved him. I should say she really, really, really loved him. She did not want to share him with the other kids. She wanted to sit in his lap, and poke his mouth and eyes. She wanted to show him her bunny. She wanted him in her sight at all times so she could point and say "[indecipherable baby language]". It was an absolutely beautiful day. We had a great time!
