Jared and Katie were in town and watched the game with us. We always love it when they are here. While we dined on M&M barbeque and Jared's soon to be world famous baked beans, Samantha had rice cereal, a bottle of formula and an 8:00 bedtime. I should've gone to bed when she did. I wouldn't have missed anything. At least she wasn't up to witness the whole debacle.
This shirt was a gift from our friends Russ and Sara Edwards. Sara made this, along with a few other snazzy outfits for Samantha. Sara took a plain white t-shirt, embroidered it, and added tulle and pom-poms around the bottom. Very snazzy! The bow is compliments of Michael and Hope Boyce. We may have stunk up the football field, but at least Samantha looked great. By the way, if you want to check out some of Sara's other great creations, visit her blog the Edwards Extra. Her beautiful daughter Ella has a great wardrobe!
This terrible moustache was a gameday experiment only. In light of the loss, we will likely never see it again. At least something good came out of the game!
With Uncle Jared and Aunt KatieI had to include this one last picture. It is an exclusive sneak preview of Samantha's UAB gameday outfit. It also was a gift from the Boyces. Their granddaughters, Kate, Harper and Lane Pyle (daughters of our friends Jason and Krystyna), all have matching dresses. She looks adorable in it! We'll post more photos of gameday #2 next week. Here's hoping for a better outcome!

Samantha must wear the orange dress with her name on it every time now. It is just precious, and the Vols won! Love to all.
