Take Me Out To The Ballgame!

As part of her birthday, Uncle Bill and Aunt Elise got "Samantha" Cubs tickets for the game in Atlanta. Since we had extra tickets, we asked our friends Bo and Jen, who live in Atlanta with their unbelievably cute son Tate, to come along. It was the first of hopefully many meetings of our young un's. Samantha seemed to have a wonderful time ... wish I could say the same for Steve. The Cubs lost 6-5 in extra innings. I'll spare you the details since it was a heartbreaker of a game. She ate junk food, clapped for whatever team was being cheered for at the moment, danced to the music and stayed up waaaaay too late.

Ready for the game in our new Cubs gear - yes, she has on a pink Cubs onesie.

With the Braves mascot, who, naturally, Samantha loved.

Playing in the kids area with Tate.

Bo, Tate, Steve and Samantha. She couldn't take her eyes off of him!

Having overpriced ballpark junk food for dinner.

Cheering - doesn't matter which team!

Studying the game with Daddy.

Petting Tate.

A self-portrait by Daddy.

Tuckered out, but still going.

Trying to pull the Cubs through.

Hitting the bottle to drown her sorrows over the blown 5-0 lead.
