Meeting our Miracle Workers

Samantha and I had a very big day yesterday ... we went back to where it all began. For those of you who are new to the blog, our journey to become parents was not easy. God took Steve and I down a path that taught us patience, the importance of prayer, the value of friendships, and the existence of modern day miracles. God may not speak to us through burning bushes these days, but He speaks to us in so many other ways if we really stop and listen. Looking back, it is overwhelming to see how He had His hand on us the whole time, even when we wondered if we would ever be parents. As Footprints says, it was during those times that He was undoubtedly carrying us.

The journey started with Lynn Taylor, my doctor. Incidentally, I started seeing her long ago because of my wonderful mother in law. The whole Noland clan goes to the same office. When she realized I would need help, she sent me to Dr. Michael Fields, who you know we love. When my treatments plateaued with Dr. Fields, he sent us over to Dr. Keenan. Dr. Keenan and his amazing staff turned out to be our modern day miracle workers. We will forever be grateful for their care.

With Dr. Keenan - lost the pacifier right before the shot!

With Nurse Mari. She did both of our IUI's.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, Dr. Keenan and Mari. We will see you again in a few years!
