The First Last Day of School

Hard to believe, but this morning we packed Samantha up and dropped her off for her last day of Mothers Day Out. I have no idea where this year has gone. If you want to see some photos from her first day, click here. It is amazing to see how much she has grown. She is no longer a toddler ... she is a little girl. She is really going to miss her friends and teachers, though she did tell me this morning that she was excited to be going to the "big kids" class. I am thankful that we have a beach trip coming up, and VBS and dance classes when we get back. I'm hoping she'll adjust to being at home with us if we keep her entertained!

Crazy to think that Andrew wasn't here yet for her first day. I know he'll be happy to have big sister home all the time. She is a constant source of entertainment for him!

A very proud Mommy!

Daddy's girl.

Waiting patiently to head to school.

Walking in for the last time this year.

With her friends Colt and Abby.

With her sweet teacher Ms. Shaune. Her teachers have been so wonderful to her. They assure me they didn't have to put her in time out a single time this year. I guess she saves that for home!

With teacher Ms. Kim. According to Samantha, Ms. Shaune and Ms. Kim are her best friends. She thinks they live together at the church, so I'm sure she'll ask to stop in and see them when we drive by.

Can't believe how much she has changed. There are so many exciting school adventures in store for her and I hope she is like her mom and always loves it!
