I just flew in from Heaven . . . .

and boy are my arms tired! (insert drum rim shot here)

Samantha's first full day on Earth was spent sleeping, eating, and sleeping some more. It did not really matter what she did though . . . . as during no point in the day was she not being held or loved on.

The doctors and nurses all said it was perfectly normal for her to sleep 95% of the time for the first 24-36 hours as the affects of the epidural wear off. We expect her to be a lot more active today, and by active we mean "vocal". According to our sources . . . today will be the day she learns the wonderful world of her digestive system. Although she was starting to "release some air" last night after we fed her.

I'll post some pictures from yesterday. Lots of doctor visits, but somehow the grandparents still found some time to squeeze in with Samantha . . . imagine that!
