a VERY quick update!

Hello All! Well, today was a big day. We had another blood pressure scare yesterday and wound up at St. Mary's. They checked me out, all was okay, and we were sent home. At my regular appointment with Dr. Fields today, he decided that the blood pressure, though not dangerous, is enough of an issue to induce me a little early. Needless to say, we are heading back to the hospital tonight around 8 or 9 for induction. They'll give me something to help me sleep through the night and the early parts of labor, so hopefully I'll be rested tomorrow for go time. Bebe is perfectly healthy, only 4 days shy of 39 weeks, and already 7 pounds and 10 ounces. Boy is she in for a day tomorrow!

What a journey we have been on! I can hardly believe we will meet our daughter tomorrow. It is truly overwhelming. Everytime Steve and I went to our early morning appointments with Dr. Keenan (our fertility doctor), we went to Chick fil A to eat and gather our thoughts before heading back to work. We thought it only fitting to have Chick fil A tonight for dinner.

No words can express what it means that you have been with us on this journey. We are looking forward to closing one chapter and opening another. And we are looking forward, as soon as we possibly can, to posting some pictures to introduce you to our daughter!!
